Product is fine, Amazon application chart is wrong

0 4/5 Harbourbug - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: K&N KN-204 Motorcycle/Powersports High Performance Oil Filter (Automotive) I like all K&N parts that I've used. Just be careful when using the Amazon application chart. Their chart said I need this KN-204 for my Ducati 750SS. Later research using the K&N website showed this would not fit ANY model Ducati and specified the KN-153. Just check the K&N website before you pick the model number of the filter you need. This was only a minor inconvenience and loss of a bit of time. Amazon was excellent with the return and prompt on the refund. Didn't cost me a penny and they arranged everything. This is also the only time I've ever had to make a return out of the many purchases I've made with Amazon. That's hard to beat! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , April 3, 2012

On some vehicles with limited room around the oil filter, the nut on the bottom is priceless. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , May 30, 2009

0 5/5 Howard Stringert (Colorado Springs, CO, US) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: K&N KN-204 Motorcycle/Powersports High Performance Oil Filter (Automotive) As with everything else that K&N does, these oil filters are great. You'll love the integral nut, on the back end, for removal when you next need to change it. A little bit more expensive than what you can get at Walmart or some auto parts stores, but well worth it. Think about what your time is worth, and the mess you save in not needing to wrestle with an oil filter that doesn't want to come off. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , September 11, 2010

This is how I spell relief - BEARINGS

I was experiencing "heavy" handling at low speeds and just moving the bike around. At moderate speeds, especially during deceleration, I had the dreaded wobble that so many riders have experienced with Honda bikes that were built using the poor quality steering stem bearings from the factory. Replacing the OEM bearings with these is one of the most significant improvements I've made to my bike and I can't overstate the improvement this one upgrade represents! No more wobbles, at any speed. The steering is "lighter" and so much more responsive at all speeds that I can't even believe it! I noticed it most during turns at 35-50 mph. Before, If I needed to take the clutch hand off the handlebar for whatever reason, I would be fighting the steering through the turn all the way. Now, just for the sake of comparison, i can take those turns with absolute confidence and no effort at all. The bike tracks true on uneven roads, over grooved concrete roads, rutted pavement, you... 5/5 XSfun - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Reliable even after 50K motorcycle miles

My experience by no means is a proven scientific method of analysis, but the trend I have experienced with Fram filters has been one of reliability. I used Fram on everything from motorcycles, ATVs, cars and my 4x4 trucks. Not one has shown any indication of failure. My truck with over 300K miles is well within its compression window and doesn't blow the least bit of smoke. My motorcycle has over 50K miles and it too doesn't show any appreciable wear.Does that mean Fram is flawless? Nothing is, but I changed 1000s of engine oil for myself and 100s of friends over 30yrs. I am presently using this 6017A series on a Polaris ATV which is exposed to extreme conditions in the Florida swamps with much success.Maybe Fram fails easier than others when you push the envelope with going long on an oil change interval. Since I change oil religiously, I may never know what the failure point of a Fram filter is, and I am certainly not interested in finding out the hard... 5/5 J. R. FRAM motorcycle filters are great!

0 5/5 Tom - See all my reviews This review is from: Fram PH6017A Black Oil Filter (Automotive) I am tired of hearing about how bad FRAM filters are for you motorcycle. They are one of the few aftermarket brands that make filters specifically designed for motorcycles. Motorcycles typically need a much higher flow rate of oil so using filters that are too restrictive can seriously damage your bike's engine. They got a bad reputation because many years ago as they did have poor quality but now I would consider them one of the best. I have bought FRAM filters from both Amazon and Oil Filters Online for my bikes and couldn't be happier. Do yourself (and your wallet) a favor and give FRAM a try. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , June 27, 2009

    Installs easily, works great.

I already installed one side with the Philips 9006 headlight that I bought from Kmart in the past 1-2 years(?) for my T. Highlander. This time, rather than trekking out to the store, I just had Amazon deliver it me (for cheaper too!).At risk of making me look like an idiot, but for the benefit of someone else who is not super car-savvy:Initially when I tried to change the bulb, the headlight wouldn't fit into the socket no matter what I did. Then I realized I was trying to change out the highbeam bulb... oops. When I replaced the correct lowbeam (regular headlight) bulb it fit just fine. There is a groove on the inside of the connector that insures that you can only replace a lowbeam with lowbeam (9006) and the same with highbeam (9005). So, even though I did this easily in the past, I guess I was having one of those moments. Only cost me an extra 10 minutes of bewilderment. Also, never touch the bulb itself with your bare hands as oil residue... 5/5 AverageGuyShopper - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Perfect replacements for the 9006 bulb

I do a lot of night driving, especially in the winter. So, being able to see the road well is important. My 2010 Chevy Colorado uses the 9006 bulb, so when it was time to replace them, I began my search for the best 9006 replacement and stumbled upon the Philips 9012 HIR2. HID kits were considered, but with all of the problems people were having with ballast replacements and the fact they emit a huge amount of glare and are illegal in some areas made me shy away and I'm glad I did.First, let me say that the 9012 HIR2 bulb fits right into the 9006 socket with a slight tab modification. You can learn more about it by searching the web, but the mod takes about 10 seconds per bulb. The bases of the two types are interchangeable, so it's truly plug and play. One thing to note about the 9012 HIR2's is that they don't have a blacked out tip like the 9006. So, before you order these, make sure your vehicle has a glare shield for the low beam lights. Otherwise, you'll just end up... 5/5 Scott Ten Kley - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?)
