    So far so good...

0 5/5 dukey (Texas) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Continental Conti Motion Sport Touring Tire - Front - 120/70ZR-17 , Position: Front, Load Rating: 58, Speed Rating: (W), Tire Size: 120/70-17, Rim Size: 17, Tire Type: Street, Tire Application: Sport, Tire Construction: Radial 02440430000 I tried this tire based on some chatter I saw about how good it was for grip with decent treadlife. I am using it on a heavy bike, so it may not last as long as if it were on a light sportbike but it mounted up well and didn't need but 1/2 ounce to balance it. It rides smooth, but does seem louder than the Michelin PR2 it replaces. Finally, Smith Family Powersports shipped very quickly. The tire was on my doorstep in just a couple of days. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , February 4, 2013

    MICHELIN ALWAYS GREAT

0 5/5 VTWINPOWER - See all my reviews I have used Michelin Pilot Power and Power 2CT for over 50,000 miles on 3 different bikes (Sv1000S, SV650S, SV650) in the last 5 years. I only do spirited rides and track days without ever feeling anything else but confidence in the turns. This is probably one of the best tire for the money. I have ridden others in the same $$ range but always went back to these. They are predictable while leaning over. I do wish I could get more miles out of the rear but than again Vtwin do put down some rubber. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , June 1, 2011

    Pilot Power Rear

0 5/5 Rymincks - See all my reviews This review is from: Michelin Pilot Power Motorcycle Tire Hp/Track Rear 180/55-17 (Automotive) Bought this tire along with the pilot power front and love them. Currently on the 2005 cbr600rr, I have just over 4,000 miles on the set with plenty of room yet with the wear bars. I don't ride overly aggressive usually as I have been trying to conserve the tires from wearing overly fast. Mostly city/highway riding for the 4,000 miles but do go hard in the corners occasionally. $130 with free shipping is a great deal and I highly recommend. Expecting around 8,000 miles from the rear and most likely 12,000+ for the front. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , March 14, 2014

    13,000 Miles and Counting

0 5/5 Ray Rockwood - See all my reviews This review is from: Continental ContiMotion Sport/Touring Motorcycle Tire Rear 160/60-17 (Automotive) Bike- 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 650RRiding conditions- Mostly summer touring and some commutingI am thoroughly impressed with these tires. My front is just approaching the wear bars and the rear appears to have another 1-2k of life. Mileage has been accrued under relatively modest riding with little payload, but their overall life is surprising nonetheless. I cannot find any glaring faults with these tires. I did notice some slippage during cold weather riding (30 degrees or so) but under normal circumstances they get up to temp quickly and have plenty of traction. When taking the ContiMotion's excellent tread life and low price into consideration, why take a gamble with another brand of tire? I will surely mount another set of these in the future. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , January 22, 2014
